Facilities and Infrastructure
Certain facilities and infrastructure are reserved for the exclusive use of students of the School of Business. These include:
Bloomberg Laboratory
Equipped with a Bloomberg terminal, the Bloomberg laboratory lets students familiarise themselves with one of the most powerful systems used by financial professionals worldwide. The terminal allows users to monitor and analyse real-time financial market data, as well as to provide news, price quotes, and secure messaging.
Laboratory for Applied Business Research with Eye Tracker system
The Laboratory is made available to RPg students for academic research activities. Computers installed with eye tracker system are installed, where students can make good use of this technology to facilitate their research
Datastream Laboratory
Students have access to Datastream, a data driven service integrating economic research and strategy with asset analysis in one integrated application widely used by the asset management industry.
Simulated Trading Laboratory
The laboratory is used by students of the Fund Management Committee for investing real money donated by alumni.
Life Science Imaging Centre
To promote transdisciplinary research, the Life Science Imaging Centre (LSIC) is newly established in Jan 2024. This new Centre is equipped with advanced brain imaging facilities, covering a 3T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner, Electroencephalogram (EEG), functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS), and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) system.
Workstation
We provide dedicated workstations for our PhD students, ensuring they have the resources and environment necessary to conduct impactful research. These spaces are designed to foster productivity and collaboration, supporting students in their academic pursuits.
