We are honoured to invite Prof. Viswanath Venkatesh (Dr Kennedy Y.H. Wong Distinguished Visiting Professor in HKBU and Distinguished Professor and Billingsley Chair in University of Arkansas) to give our faculty members and students a 2-day workshop on “Writing a Journal Article: Problem Definition and Literature Review” on 7 Aug and 13 Aug 2020. The workshop aims to:
- Build problem definition skills and recognize the challenges in identifying and developing research questions.
- Learn how to review and synthesize the literature, with an eye toward surfacing a gap.
- Learn to write front-end—i.e., introduction and literature review sections—of journal papers.
