“The PhD Programme of HKBU School of Business has equipped me with solid skills and knowledge to become an independent researcher and to accomplish achievements in different aspects across the different phases and dimensions of my academic career.” Dr. Zach Lee, our PhD graduate from Management Information Systems in 2014-15, has recently shared with us.
During his PhD study, he received the Best Paper Award and Distinguished Paper Award for the two conference papers derived from his dissertation, and was selected to participate in a doctoral consortium of the Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems. Besides, the Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMOG) Addiction Scale developed from a study of his dissertation has been included in PsycTESTS database in which psychologists and practitioners can use the scale for assessing MMOG addiction.
Zach is now an Associate Professor at Durham University in the UK. His research interests include online consumer behaviours, organisational and societal implications of IT use, social media, and digital service innovation.
Zach, we are looking forward to your sharing with our students again!
