Dr. Tommy Chan received his PhD degree in Management Information Systems in 2016-17 and was awarded Postgraduate Research Scholarship 2015-16 to recognize his publication in a top-tier journal. He is now a Senior Lecturer at Northumbria University in the UK. His research interests include societal implications of information technology use (cyberbullying, technology addiction, social media, well-being), and digital businesses and online consumer behaviors (impulse buying, customer engagement, social media firestorms).
