After Dr. Zach Lee graduated from our Programme in 2014-15, he has continued serving the academic communities and the industries.
He has been organizing conference tracks and mini-tracks for international conferences, e.g. ICIS, AMCIS, ECIS, PACIS, and HICSS, in the Information Systems discipline. He also serves as senior editor for Internet Research, associate editor for Information & Management, and on the editorial review board at Industrial Management & Data Systems and Journal of Computer Information Systems. Zach received the Emerald Literati Award 2021 for the Outstanding Associate Editor at Internet Research.
Besides, his studies on the organizational and societal implications of IT use have been published in such international journals as Journal of Management Information Systems and Journal of Information Systems. He also edited a book with Emerald Publishing Limited on “Information Technology in Organisations and Societies: Multidisciplinary Perspectives from AI to Technostress”.
Apart from publications, he also secured funding from the Research Grants Council in Hong Kong for two research projects on societal implications of IT use which aims to create a healthy yet safe digital space for users.
Last but not least, Zach has been providing consultancy to businesses in the online gaming industry in relation to gaming addiction management, promoting ethical and sustainable business practices in the industry.
